The Sun came up high
shining his light bright in the sky
and here at the other side of the ocean
a shinning sun has died.

Gone forever
leaving us all behind.
Depriving us from
the glory of his music
bidding a sudden good-bye.

The Sun went to set
from Pandit Ravi Shankar's end,
But his music will always be alive with us.

But the tunes will never fade.
