Ghost Of Walls

Can God bless me
Even if evil runs through me
Runs in my Blood
every drop is cursed
blistering bruises
I affect everyone I touch.

Devour my heart
consuming my soul
God forgive me
for sins I have done.
watch my reflection
am under devil's vigilant
fire of fury
gallop through my throat.

Oh! God, Save me
Mercy my soul
restless monster I have become
unleash this lunacy
redeem my affinity

I tear off myself
I pull my heart out
disgusted by self apprehension
am broken under the load
pulling my existence
walking dead I am.
Riding headless through the halls
Disgrace I fight with
I fight with myself.

Let go and let me live
discharge from incarceration
let me be
whom I am
am fighting to be my self.
Reflect the truth
Mirror, oh! Mirror
Am not devil in me
my heart is pure.

I cry, I yell,
I scream to my death
but am dead wrapped in cold
walking through
around the halls
am same undead
hollowing through walls.

Free Tilikum to sea

Free Tilikum to sea (Tilikum stands as a figure of revolution standing up for all captive whales)

Please Help me my readers to bring whales to freedom by casting a vote @ Petition to Free Tilikum to sea

Some of you know Tilikum, for you I would like to remind you of him. Some of you don't know Tilikum, for you I would like to introduce him. Tilikum (born c. December 1981), nicknamed Tilly, is a bull orca who currently lives in captivity at SeaWorld Orlando, Florida.
Some of the crowd calls it a Murderer who killed three of its trainers. But there is more to the story behind this serial killer. Tilikum was captured in Berufjörður off the east coast of Iceland on November 9, 1983 at about two years of age. Since then he is living a life being a captive to human’s inhumanity. He was first kept at Sealand of the Pacific in South Oak Bay, British Columbia where he spent his early years in a small pool. Let me tell you Tilikum is a HE, a male whale who measures 22.5 feet (6.9 m) in length and weighs 12,000 pounds (5,400 kg). During his early ages, such a huge creature/mammal had to live in a small container in the dark and cold with other whales.

By nature, it’s not only that Whales are very sensitive but they also speak a unique language in their family to which each member is very attached. Being taken away from that family or any detachment causes traumatic effect on the member. But that’s not all, because of the trauma and lifelong captivity some of them lose their mental stability, jus’ like a human would undergo with severe depression because of an entire lifetime of seclusion, forced to spend it in a tiny tub. These huge mammals undergo the same.

After 3 killing incidents blamed on Tilikum and several incidents of other whale attacking their trainers around the globe, the government made rules which separated trainers from the whales with a concrete wall. Sure, that ensured the safety of the trainer but the whales continue to live under the same tragic conditions.

Jus’ because we have advanced technology and can control this huge creature and make it dance to our tunes, it is not fair that we should?
Let me mention two very important affects on the orca whale kept in captivity:

1.     In the middle of "Blackfish," the scathing documentary about SeaWorld's killer-whale program, an activist says the whales in SeaWorld parks die early while their counterparts in the wild live as long as humans.
2.     Dorsal fins in male orcas stand straight up as a mark of confidence, self-respect and the mightiness, but they are bent to a side for Tilikum and other male orcas in captivity. Why? Everyday these whales are forced to get inside a dark container and the only time they come out is to put up a brilliant show with echoing claps, only to return back to that dark hole again at nightfall. Accommodating itself in that poor hole and as it grows larger and larger it never had enough space for its dorsal fin to stand up as pride but the shame of slavery, pity for each bit of food which it might not even earn some days, because it is being punished with starvation for its naive mistakes.

I can’t ask the whole corporation to shutdown although that gonna be the best, to shut it down and release all the whales out into the ocean. But the bare minimum I request the Corporation is to spend a little more to provide an area larger than a container. Whales can be released into the sea and as per the corporation income goes, the business can be modified. Instead of putting up a show in front of the clapping crowd in a small pool, the whales can be allowed to be their majestic selves in their natural habitat – an cordoned off part of the great free sea. The viewers can instead be taken in safe areas/boats where they can actually witness these beautiful creatures and be a part of their lives, the way it is supposed to be.

Funny that human is such a creature who is not entitled to humanity, who considers no one's emotion. It’s a shame on us. And only we can stop this from continuing. I call upon all of us, the humans, to start thinking about all the creatures, small and big, that share this delicate planet with us. I call upon them to help me by supporting my small step to make this earth, a better place to be in for all creatures of the world.

Please check out the documentary “Blackfish” (Please atleast watch this link : Blackfish documentary - why you should help?) and cast a vote, and take a vow that we are not gonna entertain this inhuman entertainment. If no one will buy a ticket, the whales shall be the way they are meant to be – FREE!
